03-25 Improving Your Leadership Through Emotional Intelligence-1

Emotional Intelligence Quotient, or EQ, is proven to be even more important to leadership success than IQ (Intelligence Quotient). But what is EQ, really? In this experiential webinar, you’ll meet Sam, a leader in a company like yours. In a series of vignettes, we’ll explore the behaviors that underlie each of the four EQ competencies as we watch her grapple with challenges that test her EQ to the limit. You’ll even get a sense of what she’s thinking and how changing her thinking changes her results.

Led by Julie Scher and Jonathan Reitz, managing partners of Harrison Assessments, this webinar will dive into the success and failures of leadership through the lens of the four EQ competencies. Like Sam, you’ll learn how to break down and evaluate your own patterns of behavior against the EQ model and backdrop. You’ll see the improvement in your leadership the next day.

Learning Objectives:

After this session, you will understand:

  • The importance of emotional intelligence in leadership effectiveness
  • The behaviors that underlie each of the four EQ competencies
  • How to measure and develop your emotional intelligence
