At Leadercast we believe that people of all ages, positions, or nationalities have the capacity to change the world. Our company was founded on the idea that we need better leaders in our communities, businesses, organizations, and in homes across the world and we are passionate about giving leaders from all over the world a platform to share their stories.

Malala Yousafzai grew up with a passionate understanding of the importance of education in a place where education was not valued or accessible for primary-school-age girls. Her outspoken beliefs on a young girl’s right to be educated earned her death threats from the terrorist organization known as the Taliban. At the age of 14 multiple armed terrorists boarded the bus, forced her classmates to identify Malala, and then attempted to silence her message of equality permanently by firing multiple bullets that struck her in the head and neck.

Their attempts to silence were unsuccessful. In Malala’s words:

“They thought that the bullets would silence us. But they failed.

And then, out of that silence came, thousands of voices. The terrorists thought that they would change our aims and stop our ambitions, but nothing changed in my life except this: Weakness, fear and hopelessness died. Strength, power and courage was born.”

On May 8th, 2015, at Leadercast Live, Malala will be sharing her story and bringing an encouraging message to more than 130,000 leaders in over 20 countries.

People of all backgrounds have the capacity to change the world. Including you. We hope you’ll join us at Leadercast Live in 2015. In doing so, you’ll be part of a movement of leaders who desire to join their voice to Malala’s and countless others who have stood up to be known as The Brave Ones.
